Dan Jones
Dan Jones, FACHE, was appointed to CEO at Phoenix Baptist Hospital, a facility within the Abrazo Health Care system, in 2013.
Prior to joining Abrazo Health Care, Jones served as CEO of Nueterra Health Alliance in Leawood, Kansas, a national entrepreneurial hospital company focused on health system and physician partnerships.
In a previous role, he was system vice president at Ochsner Health System, an integrated health system with eight hospitals, 800 physicians and more than 10,000 employees, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
During his extensive professional career, Jones has held various administrative and executive leadership positions at health care systems and medical centers across the country, including regional vice president for Quorum Healthcare’s Carolina Division, overseeing 10 hospitals across North and South Carolina.
He is a seasoned health care executive dedicated to attaining operational excellence and strong financial success. A visionary leader, Jones has successful experience in business and clinical strategy, development and growth, and physician relations.
He is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and was named “Young Healthcare Executive of the Year” in 2006. Jones was recognized by Ingram’s Magazine as one of Kansas City’s “Forty under Forty.”
He is an active private pilot and highly involved in Boy Scouts and numerous activities that benefit school-aged children.
Jones holds a master’s in health services administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
