David Tupponce, MD

David Tupponce, M.D. has been the Chief Executive Officer at Paradise Valley Hospital since 2012.

In his current role, Tupponce has continued to focus on quality and safety, while using his relationships with the medical staff to collaborate on growth initiatives.  He joined Paradise Valley Hospital in 2009 as its first medical director and over the next three years helped take the hospital from the bottom to the top of the company in quality and safety scores.

Prior to joining Paradise Valley Hospital, Tupponce was on the medical staff at Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke, MA. He was medical staff president and actively involved on numerous hospital committees including quality assurance, by-laws and medical quality improvement. Tupponce also served as a hospitalist, medical information officer and a family practice physician.

Tupponce received a Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University and completed a family practice residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
