My journey to Family Medicine Residency at Abrazo Central started in Krakow, Poland, as not just my place of birth, but also the home to my medical school Alma Mater. The social and political landscape of Poland in the early 1980’s was fertile ground for my family to strongly consider a one-way escape to Western Europe so after a mid-night border crossing into West Germany, we applied for political asylum, becoming political refugees en-route.
I have been fortunate my entire life to be positively influenced and helped by people of all walks of life. In as much as we differ greatly in our temperaments, beliefs, and convictions, we are, fundamentally, all vastly similar in our humanity and biology. I believe that my passion for medicine is somehow rooted in this inherent desire to be in the position to help those in need, as I was helped when the tables were turned.
As such, I am dedicated to my professional aspiration to be a medical services provider and I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to commence this dedication at Abrazo Central in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona.
When not actively polishing my craft of smart and high quality health-care delivery as a resident-physician, I will be hanging out with my wife (and resident-physician colleague), Kisria, and our 3 kiddos. And during those rare “in-between” moments, I might be found pursuing my other interests of business development, martial arts, RV-touring, or soaking up the rays poolside.
