Jennifer Wakem is Associate Chief Financial Officer for Phoenix Baptist Hospital and Arizona Heart Hospital.

She has 15 years of experience in healthcare, public accounting and team management. Most recently, she served as director of finance at Saddleback Memorial in Laguna Hills, CA, a not-for-profit hospital member of Memorial Care Health System. She was responsible for the financial reporting of two acute care hospitals, a free-standing outpatient surgery center and an imaging center.

Wakem also has experience as controller of HCA Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, and Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. She handled the financial reporting of an integrated healthcare system comprised of a 700-bed acute care hospital, children’s hospital, outpatient surgery centers, and physician clinics.
