I was born in Taiwan and moved to the United States with my parents and sister when I was a baby. I have lived in New York and Colorado, but spent most of my life in Key West, Fla. I then moved to Tampa, where I majored in Biomedical Sciences and minored in Psychology at USF.

During my undergraduate career, I volunteered at a community clinic where I fell in love with the impact a physician’s knowledge and decision-making can have on a person’s life. Because of that experience, I left the Sunshine State to pursue my medical degree in Des Moines, Iowa.
I enjoy traveling, exercising, exploring the outdoors, eating and spending time with my friends and family.

I rotated at Phoenix Baptist Hospital during my fourth year of med school, and I loved how much independence and teaching I was given as a student. I am excited to continue my medical training through Phoenix Baptist Hospital!
