My name is Kisria. I’m very excited to be starting as a resident in the Abrazo Central family medicine program. Being one of the few unopposed residency programs within an urban setting, I am greatly looking forward to the many procedural and OB training opportunities as well as exposure to a diverse patient population that I will be afforded as a result. Further, being able to train under the tutelage of and alongside supportive, like-minded, and enthusiastic individuals, make Abrazo even that much more appealing. To have all this and to be able to raise our three wonderful children in Phoenix— which is one of the top places to live according to US News & World Reports—there really is no comparison! Taking all of these reasons into consideration, and especially if the adage “where you train is likely where you'll remain” rings true, I could not image a more optimal program.

I love taking in the beautiful Arizona views and weather by the poolside or on the soccer fields with my kiddos and hubby/fellow resident, on runs with my pup, and traveling whenever we can.
