I was born and raised in Connecticut. My parents owned a Polish babka bakery in Brooklyn, NY. I studied history at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. Afterwards I taught high school history for a year on Jaluit Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The chemistry teacher died the first week of school so I took over his classes as well. I enjoyed chemistry and also saw a lot of people suffering from preventable diseases such as diabetes. So afterwards I decided to pursue becoming a family doctor. I completed post-bacc pre-medical sciences at Central Connecticut State University, then medical school at American University of the Caribbean. I completed basic sciences in St Maarten, and clinical rotations in England at St. Richard’s Hospital, one of three hospitals in the UK to receive the NHS Care Quality Commission’s top award, as well as several more hospitals in the United States.

I am excited to be joining the Abrazo Family Medicine team in Phoenix and look forwards to helping patients achieve their optimum level of health. I am interested in broad-spectrum family medicine with an emphasis on procedures, underserved and rural care, sports medicine, and preventative care.

Outside of medicine my biggest hobby is racing marathons and triathlons, including over a dozen marathons under the U.S. Olympic trials qualifying standard as well as coaching numerous athletes ranging from school-age to adult to achieve personal bests. When time permits I also enjoy vegetable gardening, painting sailboat scenes, and going to church on Sundays.
