I was born in Lusaka, Zambia. However, I grew up as an immigrant in America and have lived in Florida, New York, Missouri, and Arizona. My father, who is also a practicing primary care physician in Northern Arizona inspired me early in my youth to practice medicine. I attended the University of Arizona, where I received a Bachelor of Health Science in Human Physiology. During this time, I worked as an undergraduate medical researcher and physiology tutor, volunteered in Radiation Oncology, and coordinated cancer support groups. I then attended medical school at the oldest osteopathic medical school in the nation, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. I was fortunate to rotate at Abrazo central during medical school and loved working with its culturally diverse patient population. I am excited to be part of the Abrazo team and to work with my mentors, colleagues, and future patients!
In my free time I like to exercise, cook, travel, try new cuisines, play video and board games, write instrumental music and spend time with my friends and family.
