I was born and raised in Houston, Texas to Nigerian immigrants. Coming from a large family of seven, from a young age, an “all hands on deck” mentality was instilled in me. I have always had a passion for connecting with and lending a helping hand to others.
Throughout medical school, I had the wonderful opportunity to live on a small island named Dominica, followed by Atlanta, and then Miami. Traveling allowed me to meet several people from an array of different diverse backgrounds. I was able to connect with these communities through volunteering at women’s health fairs, community food banks, and children’s book and science fairs.
Outside of medicine, I love hiking, cooking, and enjoy music. I’m so excited to return to the Southwest for residency and to connect with a new community. As a first generation doctor in my family, I look forward to begin my journey with Abrazo!
