Grace Kunas, MD

Born in the village of Pinner in England, Grace grew up mainly in northern New Jersey. Grace is thrilled to move to sunny Arizona for her EM residency! She is joining her significant other, an Air Force officer and engineer, and hopefully will welcome a Goldendoodle to the family soon. After completing her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania, and working in NYC for a year at the Hospital for Special Surgery, she attended medical school at Georgetown University. Her specific emergency medicine interests include trauma, military flight medicine, EMS, and tactical medicine. She’s been an active EMT for over 10 years, and in her free time, enjoys all outdoor activities, recreational sports, international travel, and exploring local breweries. Anyone up for a spin? Grace is a Spinning® instructor and would love to ride with you! During her residency at Abrazo, she is looking forward to building an incredible program with the exposure to high acuity, all EM procedures, and the formation of close relationships with dedicated faculty and co-residents.
